The National Bank eased a number of prohibitions on operations in foreign currency. So, now customers can withdraw up to 30 thousand UAH per day not in hryvnia.
They also lifted restrictions on cash withdrawals in foreign currency to enterprises that ensure the implementation of government mobilization plans and on the basis of separate NBU permits.
It will be possible to withdraw balances in foreign currency in banks and branches in those places that are under the threat of occupation by Russia.
The National Bank also lifted the ban on cash withdrawals in other countries, but introduced a ban on crediting money issued by participants in international payment systems that operate in Russia and Belarus.
It is also forbidden to accept money from aggressor countries in Ukraine.
The National Bank recommended to carry out collection in the first place of retail trade entities that accept any payment cards to pay for services.
Also on March 1, the list of exceptions to the prohibition concerning the implementation by authorized institutions of trading in currency values on behalf of clients was expanded.
The National Bank also established how the exchange rate for buying and selling foreign currency will be determined and clarified the procedure for exercising foreign exchange supervision.
The features of operations with banks for the purchase and sale of US dollars and euros, which are carried out by the National Bank, as well as the exchange rate for such operations, were determined.
