The National Guard released the names of five people killed in a shooting on the territory of the Southern Machine-building Plant in the Dnieper on the night of January 27.
Artemiy Ryabchuk, a 21-year-old conscript soldier, shot four soldiers and a checkpoint controller with a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
On January 27 , as a result of a shooting in the Dnieper , people were killed:
- Senior Lieutenant Alexander Buganov (National Guard of Ukraine);
- Junior Sergeant Dragan Alexander Aleksandrovich (National Guard of Ukraine);
- Senior soldier Artem Vladimirovich Levkivsky (National Guard of Ukraine);
- soldier Chernik Leonid Leonidovich (National Guard of Ukraine);
- Lebedinets Vera Sergeevna (controller of the checkpoint of departmental paramilitary security).
– The command and personnel express their condolences to the relatives and friends of those killed during the emergency that happened in the Dnieper.
The killer was detained by police officers in the Dnipropetrovsk region and will bear the strictest responsibility provided for by Law, the National Guard reported.
The shooting in the Dnieper occurred at 03.40 on January 27 on the territory of the Southern Machine-Building Plant (Yuzhmash).
Five people were killed and five others were injured.
A military man was detained six hours later in the Suburban Dnipropetrovsk region.
