After restarting the Pole Miracles program, the name will remain unchanged. Channel One has agreed on this with the VID television company, TASS reports with reference to the channel's press service.
The management came to an appropriate decision in order to preserve the historical name of the program. The host of the “Fields of Miracles”, as before, will be Leonid Yakubovich. “Channel One and the VID TV company have also agreed that the project will not be played on other channels,” the press service noted, adding that the project is part of the history of Channel One.
In addition, it became known that the TV company will transmit to Channel One the entire archive of the program, which currently contains more than one and a half thousand episodes.
Earlier, TV presenter Ivan Urgant ridiculed Channel One's decision to restart the Pole Miracles show in a new format. The showman called the news of the restart of “Field of Miracles” revolutionary for television. Urgant noted that everything will change in the updated show, and showed a frame that, according to him, was allegedly taken on the set of the program.
The fact that the program “Field of Miracles” is waiting for a restart, it became known on November 30. Channel One decided not to renew the contract with the producer of the Pole Miracles project, the VID TV company, and to close the show, restarting it in a new format. The management of the TV channel explained the decision by “the inexpediency of concluding a new agreement on the changed conditions offered to the channel”. What kind of changes to the conditions in question was not reported in the press release.
Nevertheless, Channel One reached an agreement to acquire from CBS the official rights to the TV show Wheel Of Fortune, the copy of which was the Russian program Pole Miracles. The relaunched show was scheduled to be released under the title Our Field of Miracles from January 2022.
