The movement of ships in the Bosphorus was temporarily stopped/Evening Kyiv

Today, March 26, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the discovery of an object similar to a mine in the strait.

After that, the movement of ships in the Bosphorus was stopped in both directions .

In the morning on the shores of the Bosphorus, a civilian commercial vessel found an object that looked like a mine. Underwater defense teams (SAS) quickly arrived at the scene of the incident, the department noted.

Subsequently, the country's Ministry of Defense reported that the mine-like object was closed by SAS teams and actions had already begun to neutralize it.

< p>Recall that the occupiers laid mines in the vicinity of the Serpent's Island. There was also information that they were installed in the region of the mouth of the Danube. At the same time, the Russians wanted to blame Ukraine for this. To do this, even an official appeal was issued warning ships.

The situation of sea mines was commented by the project manager of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, editor-in-chief of BlackSeaNews Andrey Klimenko.

The Russians do everything through one “known” place, because if you find mines in the sea, how do you know that there are 420 of them? You counted them before betting – then it looks logical, – Andrey Klimenko said.
