Самый влиятельный деятель в Европе в своей категории: Зеленский возглавил рейтинг "Мечтатели" от Politico

The American publication Politico has announced a ranking of influential people in Europe.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky won the title “Marathon Runner” in the “Dreamers” category, becoming the most influential figure in Europe.

This is evidenced by the Politico media rating.

“Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela. From time to time, a leader appears and independently changes the course of history, not thanks to the power of his army or economy, but thanks to the power of his words. Such a leader is the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky,” it says rating presentations.

Politico notes that Zelensky inspired Ukrainians to fight, and Western partners to provide effective financial and military assistance.

However, 2024 will not be easy for the President of Ukraine, writes Politico. The country's citizens are exhausted, the world is distracted by the Middle East, and EU politicians are beginning to fear the possible consequences of war.

Overall, Politico identified winners in the Doers, Disrupters and Dreamers categories. Each of them included nine people.

The “Doers” rating was topped by Italian Prime Minister George Maloney. She won first place for her unpredictability as a right-wing politician. I was struck by her policy towards the Russian Federation and her support for Ukraine.

The “Disturber” rating was topped by the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, for her role in the work of the Russian military machine.

The most influential person in Europe in 2023, according to Politico, was Polish politician Donald Tusk. His publication considers it “the wind of change.”

Let us recall that Tusk’s opposition party defeated the party in power in the elections in Poland, which shows strength “even in the false system of populists.”

Let us remember that last year President Zelensky had this title.
