Forecasters have identified the most dangerous meteorological phenomenon in Russia. It turned out to be a strong wind. It is he who causes almost a third of emergency situations in all regions, with the exception of Western Siberia. This was reported by TASS with reference to the report of Roshydromet.
According to the report, the most dangerous natural phenomena are recorded in the North Caucasus region, the Trans-Baikal and Altai regions, as well as in the Kemerovo region. Moreover, about 70 percent of them fall on the period from April to October.
Strong winds, as scientists noted, are responsible for 27 percent of emergency situations. As a rule, winds occur unexpectedly, they are difficult to predict and difficult to prepare for. In addition, the number of showers is also increasing, which also lead to large-scale destruction.
Earlier, a video appeared on the network in which tourists captured a storm in one of the coastal zones of Sochi. The footage shows that some tourists tried to swim in the sea in such weather.
