The PocketBook company has officially presented a new e-book PocketBook 970 in Russia. The model is positioned as the most affordable reader with a huge screen. The novelty is already available for pre-order at a price of 19,999 rubles. The start of sales is scheduled for September.
The e-reader is equipped with a 9.7-inch screen, the useful surface area of which is 2.5 times larger than that of standard 6-inch readers and 1.5 times larger than that of large-format 7.8-inch models. The display has a customizable backlight with adjustable color temperature that offers white and a host of shades of yellow and orange.
The battery life of PocketBook 970 reaches one and a half months without backlight and a month with it. The reader is able to open almost any e-book: 20 formats are supported, including comic CBR and CBZ. This is the maximum among all readers of any manufacturer. The work with cloud services PocketBook Cloud and Dropbox is also supported. And yesterday an inexpensive “indestructible” laptop Acer ENDURO Urban N3 arrived in Russia.
