Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of the Capital for Social Development, revealed plans for restrictions in the capital due to COVID-19. She said in an interview with RIA Novosti that there are no plans to introduce new restrictions.

According to her, now there is no need for non-working days.

“It is already approximately clear that the” delta “strain will not be able to raise a wave of morbidity similar to the one that it raised this fall or summer. An immune layer has formed, the number of vaccinated and revaccinated is growing, and we see that the city, in principle, lives a full life with some completely minimal restrictions, and the incidence is falling, ”she said.

Earlier, President Vladimir Putin said at an annual big press conference that the level of herd immunity to coronavirus in Russia should be 80 percent. According to the head of state, the level of collective immunity to COVID-19 is now 59.4 percent in the country.
