The Moscow City Court recognized the decision of the court of first instance on Twitter's claim against the bailiff Maxim Dumakov as legal due to a fine of 4 million rubles for refusing to store the data of Russian users in Russia.
“The decision of the Meshchansky Court of November 16, 2020 on the administrative claim of Twitter Inc. the bailiff MS Dumakov was left unchanged, the appeal was not satisfied, ”the court’s press service told TASS.
A world court in Moscow fined Twitter 4 million rubles for refusing to transfer servers with data from Russian users to Russia in February 2020.
On March 3, Twitter Inc. appealed against this decision.
