The artist, model and photographer provoked a scandal in Poland and Israel.
Polish artist and photographer Agnieszka Przekop, who lives and works in Germany, staged a provocative photo shoot at the old Jewish cemetery in the city of Częstochowa in southwestern Poland.

At the cemetery of Częstochowa, burial began in the 18th century. Before the destruction of European Jewry by the Nazis during World War II, more than 30,000 Jews lived there, only 5,000 of whom survived.
Agnieszka Przekop staged a photo session at the cemetery between the graves in a half-naked form (black bikini and peignoir), and posted the photos on her Facebook page.
Researcher and employee of the Polish Museum in Warsaw, Krzysztof Bejlewski, initiated a protest against Przekop on the social network and asked her if she could take similar photos at the grave of her ancestors?.. His message was quickly spread by users. However, the artist did not respond to him.
Another activist and employee of the j-negations foundation dedicated to the preservation of Jewish heritage in Poland, Meir Bulka, filed a complaint with the local police. He accused Pshekop of insulting religious feelings.
According to him, in this case, the manifestation of anti-Semitism is flagrant stupidity and ignorance.
“We and the authorities do not have the right to tolerate such provocations. They should be judged – just as they would have done with a person if he had arranged something like a Christian cemetery,” he said.
Only after contacting the police did the artist remove the photos from her page.
However, activists are still demanding that he be brought to justice.
“Who decided that dead Jews have no rights, but the authorities should not let this go on the brakes for the sake of justice and to give a lesson to the younger generation,” Bulka said.
