The law on mobilization was published on April 17 by the official publication of the Verkhovna Rada, Voice of Ukraine.
We are talking about the law on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding certain issues of military service, mobilization and military registration (No. 3633-IX), which will take effect May 18 — a month after its publication.
When the mobilization law comes into force
Based on paragraph 1 of the transitional provisions, Law No. 3633-IX will come into force “one month from the day following the day of its publication, except for paragraphs twelfth and thirteenth subparagraph 2 of paragraph 8 of section I of this Law (regarding amendments to parts four and five of Article 6 of the Law of Ukraine on mobilization preparation and mobilization), which come into force eight months from the day following the date of publication of this Law”.

The provisions that will come into force one day and eight months after the promulgation of the law (that is, December 18, 2024) refer to rules that provide for the procedure for compensation for damage caused to vehicles as a result of their involvement in mobilization time. They must be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
That is, the law on mobilization will come into force on May 18, except for some individual provisions.
