The Ministry of Natural Resources listed the main climatic risks for Russia
The most destructive for Russia are forest fires, floods and heat waves. The main climatic risks for the country were announced by the Ministry of Natural Resources, RIA Novosti reports.
In terms of adaptation to climate change in the field of environmental management, it is noted that over the past 20 years, the number of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in the country has doubled. Foreign climatologists add that the risks of wildfires in parts of Asia will triple.
The Ministry of Natural Resources believes that Russia will be able to withstand the shortage of water and food. Preventive measures that work across the country must take effect faster than the peak of the deficit.
Earlier it was reported that Russia will launch four small satellites into space, which will measure magnetic and electric fields near the Earth, the dynamics of the planet's ionosphere and the flux of protons and electrons at an altitude of 800 km.
