The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine warned about the fake campaign launched by Russia against our state. We are talking about calls to relatives of Ukrainian servicemen.
This was told by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko.
“There are fake calls from the numbers of servicemen to relatives and friends with false information about their condition and location,” Denisenko said.
He urged to inform relatives and friends of the soldiers who are on the front line and are fighting with the aggressor troops about the algorithm of actions in such situations.
So, during such calls, you need to ask a question that only the military man and his relatives can know the answer to: for example, about the name of the kindergarten he went to; the number of the school where he studied; name, birthday of mother, teacher, etc.
Ask questions like this and you'll know if it's a fake call or not. The Russians go to any meanness, but we must be smarter than them. And we must understand: if we receive a fake call, we should remember what questions to ask,” Denisenko said.
He also urged Ukrainians to trust only official and verified information.
