The specifics of coronavirus vaccination should be reviewed. The head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, called for this at a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council for Combating COVID-19, the meeting is broadcast on his Russia 24 YouTube channel.
The minister also added that revaccination allows you to achieve a high level of antibodies in the blood and protect the body, including from the omicron strain of the coronavirus. According to him, 10 million Russians have already been vaccinated, and 76 million have received at least the first element of the vaccine. You can put a booster dose six months after the vaccination course, Murashko specified.
“Vaccination with the Gam-Covid-Vac vaccine (” Sputnik V “- approx.” Lenta.ru “ ) in combination with the revaccination with the Sputnik Light vaccine can significantly prevent and protect the population from a new coronavirus infection, including, like me already said, the omicron strain, ”the minister said.
During the meeting, Murashko listed the symptoms characteristic of the omicron strain. According to him, it is a sore throat, low-grade fever and myalgia. These symptoms make the illness look like the flu.
