MOSCOW, August 13. / TASS /. The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation will provide subsidies from the federal budget to the public-state association “Association of Documentary Telecommunications” for the training of IT specialists. The corresponding document was published on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
“The government pays special attention to the training of qualified IT personnel for the digital economy. The specialized universities will prepare a pool of specialists who will become real experts in the field of information technology, communications, cybersecurity and other areas. Such specialists will be well versed in the specifics of the global IT infrastructure, develop Russian digital economy and contribute to scientific progress. We support IT companies, including when introducing products to external markets, and are interested in entrepreneurs taking national goals into account when developing their business, “Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry explained to TASS Chernyshenko.
The subsidy will be provided on the basis of an agreement between the Ministry of Digital Science and the public-state association “Association of Documentary Telecommunications”. Also, the subsidy is provided within the framework of the federal project “Information Security” of the national program “Digital Economy”.
“The Government of the Russian Federation decides to approve the attached rules for the provision of subsidies from the federal budget for state support of the public-state association” Association of Documentary Telecommunications “in order to train specialists with the knowledge and skills necessary to represent the interests of the Russian Federation in the main international organizations involved in infrastructure development information and communication technologies and ensuring confidence and security in its use, “- the document says.
The Ministry of Digital Science told TASS that specialists will have to exchange experience with foreign colleagues and develop the Russian digital economy. It is assumed that the most successful graduates of the programs will be employed, including in companies that are members of the association. The ministry added that the subsidy is aimed at the development of educational programs, wages, travel expenses, the purchase of necessary goods and services, consumables and more.
As noted in the Ministry of Digital Science, within the framework of the subsidy, the association will create a base department on the basis of the Moscow State University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI), where students will study for master's programs.
Training can also be completed under additional education programs. They are designed for government officials who can improve their competencies in the field of digital technologies and information security. For both formats (master's degree and additional education), grants are provided that compensate for 100% of the cost of training.
