The Ministry of Defense of Canada announced the supply of rifles, machine guns and shotguns to Ukraine

Canada will donate lethal weapons to Ukraine, which consists of small arms. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of the North American country, RIA Novosti reports.
It is specified that the delivery will include machine guns, pistols and shotguns, sniper rifles and various related equipment. Together with them, 1.5 million rounds of ammunition will be transferred.
On February 15, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced the supply of weapons to Ukraine. He also added that he approved an additional loan of 500 million Canadian dollars (about 390 million US dollars) to support the economic stability of Ukraine. This loan will be offered to Kiev in addition to the 120 million Canadian dollars allocated in January.
