Russia has authorized rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities as it seeks to sow panic, provoke civilian casualties and destroy infrastructure.
This was stated by adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak.
The masks have finally been dropped. The Russian Federation is actively shelling city centers, inflicting direct rocket and artillery strikes on residential areas and government bodies. The goal of the Russian Federation is clear – mass panic, civilian casualties, destruction of infrastructure,” Podolyak said.
He stressed that Ukraine is fighting with dignity and resisting the aggressor.
As you know, on Tuesday, March 1, the Russian occupation troops continued rocket attacks on Kharkov. Today, enemy forces attacked the central Freedom Square. Because of this destruction, the building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration suffered.
As a result of the shelling of Kharkov, six people were injured, including one child. The death toll is being specified.
And in the city of Vasilkov (Kyiv region), two people were killed during a rocket attack, there are victims.
As Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov noted, rocket attacks on peaceful cities of our state are a war crime, the perpetrators and organizers are waiting for a tribunal.
