In the English city of Liverpool, Merseyside, 32-year-old Jonathan Lewis discovered a creepy find in the wall of a new house immediately after moving. Reported by Liverpool Echo.
Elementary teacher Lewis received the keys to his new home on Friday, September 17th. Even before buying a house, the Briton noticed a plastered hole in the wall under the stairs. After entering, he decided to make a fist-sized hole in the wall and find out what was behind it.
Punching a hole, the man shone a flashlight – it turned out that there was a rag doll with a note in his hands behind the wall. Lewis pulled out the find and read the message that read: “Dear reader or new home owner, thank you for freeing me! My name is Emily. My owners lived in this house in 1961. I didn't like them, so they had to leave. All they did was sing and have fun. It was disgusting. I decided to stab them with a knife, so I hope you have knives too. I wish you a sound and good sleep. “
The Briton told his acquaintances about the note. “Some of my friends advised me to put the house up for sale and move, but I think it’s just someone’s joke,” Lewis said. According to him, the letter was not written in 1961, but much later. He suggested that the doll was planted in the wall four to five years ago when the kitchen was being renovated.
“To be honest, I found it all funny. I probably would have done the same, ”said the Briton.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of the English city of Louth, Lincolnshire, found a frightening message on the wall during renovations in her 150-year-old house. The Englishwoman explained that she had to remove five layers of wallpaper, under which was the original plaster.
