British doctors: chest pain is not the only sign of a heart attack

Doctors of the British Heart Foundation said that the main manifestation of a heart attack – chest pain – is not the only symptom of it. They named a number of other features that need to be paid attention to, Medik Forum reports.
Experts emphasize that it is not always possible to clearly trace the connection between the signs that make themselves felt and heart problems. The reasons that cause general malaise in a person can be very diverse. If you miss some “bells”, or misinterpret them after detection, this can lead to very serious consequences, up to and including death.
Among the signs for the absence of which it is necessary to observe especially carefully, there is a sudden feeling of anxiety, great excitement and anxiety. All this can be a manifestation of the fact that a person is in the immediate vicinity of a heart attack, since the heart does not have enough oxygen.
It is also worth paying attention to the presence of a person's shortness of breath, a feeling of malaise, dizziness, strong manifestations of weakness of the body, blurred vision, tingling in the fingers, ringing in the ears, coughing despite the fact that the person does not have a cold, wheezing when breathing, nausea or heartburn, and, finally, increased sweating. The manifestation of each of these signs is a reason to call a doctor, especially if the patient begins to have pain or heaviness in the chest and arms, the doctors said.
