The launch into space of three Russian communication satellites “Gonets-M” from the Plesetsk cosmodrome was postponed due to comments on the rocket. A source in the rocket and space industry told TASS about it.
“There will be no launch on November 24. The launch was shifted by about 10 days, ”the source said.
According to him, the transfer is connected with remarks to the rocket. “It will be dismantled and a number of details changed,” the source added.
In June, a source in the rocket and space industry told RIA Novosti that six Russian Gonets-M communication satellites are planned to be launched into orbit by the end of 2020.
The launch of the Messengers is not postponed for the first time. So, in May 2019, the launch of three Gonets-M satellites from Plesetsk was postponed to June due to the lack of Ukrainian-made control system equipment.
The only Russian low-orbit mobile satellite communication system “Gonets” is intended for global exchange of information with mobile and stationary objects, as well as for the organization of relay channels.
