NVIDIA said the launch of the RTX 30 series graphics cards was the most successful in the company's history. These models have been in short supply for a long time, and therefore it is difficult to buy them at an unstated price.
NVIDIA spoke about its success at a presentation for investors. It is reported that in the first 18 weeks of sales, twice as many RTX 30 graphics cards were sold than the previous generation RTX 20 models.
The company said the demand for new models was created by gamers, content creators, streamers and VR enthusiasts alike. For some reason, the company chose not to mention miners.
Recently NVIDIA decided to fight against cryptocurrency miners and set mining limits for the RTX 3060 video card. However, later the craftsmen managed to get around them, not without the help of NVIDIA itself, which did not check the driver for developers.
