American military developer Lockheed Martin has published a fresh post on its website. In it, he said that the state of New Mexico had successfully tested the latest guided missiles PAC-3 MSE.
This is the same ammunition that is intended for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. At the same time, the website states that as part of the PAC-3 testing, MSE successfully intercepted a potential enemy's tactical ballistic missile.
This, according to representatives of the developer company, directly testifies to the correct operation of the updated software and components.
We will remind that earlier information appeared on the network that the United States produced the first updated thermonuclear warhead W88. Its main difference from the previous modification is the updated charge initiation system, as well as the appearance of a lightning rod connector.
