Самая масштабная кибератака в истории: ГУР нанесла DDOS-удар по интернет-инфраструктуре РФ

All Russian resources were involved in one way or another in supporting or financing the Russian war against Ukraine.

The GUR of Ukraine carried out one of the largest DDOS attacks in the history of Russia's Internet infrastructure. Cyber specialists attacked critically important resources of the Russian Federation over the course of a week and gained access to a large array of confidential data.

This was reported by the publications Babel, Suspilne and NV, citing sources.

As noted, Ukrainian hackers attacked, in particular, Russian online services of all major banks of the Russian Federation, including the Central Bank. Telecommunications service providers, national payment systems, social networks and messengers, government resources and dozens of other services were also under attack.

All of these resources were involved in one way or another in supporting or financing the Russian war against Ukraine.

Cyber specialists also attacked Russian VTB Bank, Alfa Bank, Sberbank, Raiffeisen Bank, RSHB Bank, Ak Bars, Rosbank, Gazprombank, T-Bank, and Bank, Dom.R Bank and the Bank of Russia. In addition, on the last day of the attack, the resources of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Tax Service were hit.

Interestingly, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate, as of the evening of July 30, the Russians were still unable to restore the proper functioning of leading banking and payment systems, the work of mobile operators, social networks and Internet providers.

“Naturally, this is only a prelude to even more exciting events. We advise Russians to start digging a dying hole for their digital infrastructure. The right time is coming for the enemy to remember the idea of an isolated, primordially Russian “Cheburnet” with moats, digital guards and firewalls along the perimeter,” a source told the publications. GUR.

Recall that the Central Bank of Russia was hit by a large-scale cyber attack.
