The Land of Nomads Awarded the US Producers Guild Award
Director Chloe Zhao's Land of the Nomads won the Producers Guild of America award in the main category for Best Screening in Cinemas.
The PGA Awards ceremony took place online on Wednesday. The results of the award were announced on the guild's official Twitter page.
The film “The Land of Nomads” is a documentary and staged film about people who, due to various circumstances, were forced to leave their home and become examples of nomadic life.
Recall that earlier the film was also awarded the main prize of the 77th Venice Film Festival and received the American Golden Globe Award in the Best Dramatic Film nomination. In addition, the film is nominated for an Oscar in six categories.
Earlier it was reported that the main prize of the “Cesar” award this year went to the film “Happy to Stay” by French director Albert Dupontel.
