The Kremlin is spreading fakes on Russia Day to give the “holiday” historical weight – Center for Counteracting Disinformation.

The Center for Combating Disinformation warns that the Russian Federation is spreading fakes on Russia Day to give a “holiday” significance and historical weight.

In particular, on the day of the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty, the Kremlin is spreading historical, militaristic and propaganda narratives about the previous accomplishments of the “thousand-year history”.

About This is reported by the Center for Strategic Research under the National Security and Defense Council.

“The Russian Foreign Ministry, as a greeting, posted the narrative “we politely asked not to expand to the east,” and Putin said that he was “proud of the accomplishments and military victories of his ancestors, who in battles he asserted Russia's worthy role in the world,” the National Security and Defense Council noted.

The CPI recalled:

“It should be remembered that 300 years of formal existence Russia on the map is just a chain of fakes and brutal imperial aggression,” added the CPI under the National Security and Defense Council.

Earlier it was reported that Kherson residents do not accept the “Russian world”. Residents of the city deliberately ignored the celebration of Russia Day.
