The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has published a new list of US citizens against whom the Kremlin is imposing personal sanctions as a response.
25 citizens were included in the sanctions list United States, among which are senators, professors, lawyers, former diplomats, members of the so-called McFaul-Yermak group and the wife and daughter of US President Joe Biden.
This was announced in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“As a response to the ever-expanding US sanctions against Russian political and public figures, 25 American citizens from among the senators responsible for the formation of the Russophobic course, members of the so-called McFaul group -Yermak”, which is developing recommendations on anti-Russian restrictions, as well as members of the family of President Joe Biden,” the statement says.
The Foreign Ministry made such a decision, as they explained, for “the formation of a Russophobic course.” As specified on the department's website, this is a response to the ever-expanding US sanctions against Russian political and public figures.
