Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has received an invitation to participate in this year's G20 summit in Bali .
However, the Kremlin has not yet decided whether the Russian President will attend the G20 meeting.
The Guardian writes about this.
Peskov said that the Kremlin will decide “at the right time” whether Putin will personally go to the summit. Putin's spokesman also noted that statements by Western politicians, in particular Prime Minister Boris Johnson, will not affect Putin's possible participation in the summit G20.
“Mr. Johnson allows a lot of different statements, statements – successful, less successful, completely unsuccessful and terrifying in content,” he said.
Recall that Indonesian President Joko Widodo, whose the country chairs the group, invited both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the G20 meeting.
Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Draghi ruled out Putin's presence at the G20 summit.
