The Italian ambassador admitted that tourists from the Russian Federation will be able to visit the country in September
Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano said that Italy is considering the possibility of Russian tourists visiting the country in September this year, TASS reports.
According to him, this is directly related to the pace of vaccination. As the ambassador noted, it is possible that in September the circumstances may change, and tourists from the Russian Federation will be able to relax in Italy.
At the moment, you can come from Russia to Italy only for valid reasons (work, treatment, study) and holders of a permanent residence permit, entry is not possible with a tourist visa. For all those who come from Russia to Italy, a two-week quarantine and a mandatory test for coronavirus are provided.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov informed Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio about the decision of the Russian Federation to resume regular mutual flights between the countries. At the same time, the parties reaffirmed their desire to create conditions in both countries to ensure unimpeded travel of citizens to Russia and Italy for tourist and other purposes.
