The ISS crew resumed searching for air leaks in the Zvezda module

The ISS crew resumed searching for air leaks in the intermediate chamber of the Zvezda module, it follows from the astronauts' talks with the Earth, broadcast by NASA.

Recall that the search for a leak in the Russian module was suspended at the end of last April, after which the space station crew closed the hatch into the leaking compartment.

According to the negotiations, on the eve of the cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov opened the hatch to the intermediate chamber and examined various places with the help of a leak detector. According to him, the device did not reveal any obvious places of leakage.

We will remind that earlier the head of “Roscosmos” Dmitry Rogozin denied reports of readiness to extend the work of the International Space Station until 2030. He also said that Russia's withdrawal from the ISS project depends on Washington's decisions on sanctions against the Progress RCC and TsNIIMash.
