The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to check the arguments of public figures from the Novosibirsk region, who spoke out sharply against the speech of the leader of the German music group Rammstein Till Lindemann. The interest of the department is reported on its official website.
It is known that the activists asked the deputies to support them and counteract “anti-cultural phenomena” at the legislative level, as well as to appeal to the TFR about the event scheduled for January with the participation of Lindemann.
The authors of the appeal stressed that the artist had already had problems with the law in Russia because of his scandalous songs and videos. In addition, they cited Bastrykin's statement – in an interview with Rossiyskoye Gazeta, he said about “a hybrid war that some Western institutions are waging against Russia” and which must be rebuffed.
On August 28 last year, it became known about the visit of the police to Lindemann's hotel room in the Tver region, in which the musician was preparing to perform. Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that they had no complaints about the Rammstein vocalist. Then there was information that the police opened an administrative case against the producer of the leader of Rammstein Anar Reyband, he was charged with violation of the migration regime.
