The famous RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, is able to impress with its graphics today. A video of the cult RPG has been published on the Digital Dreams YouTube channel. It was launched in 4K resolution at 60 fps with ray tracing enabled.
How can an old game look so impressive? The answer lies in mods. What you see in the video is the result of the work of not only Bethesda developers, but also modders. Over 500 mods are installed on top of the standard The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
If The Elder Scrolls VI looks like this, hardly anyone will be upset. As such, Skyrim looks and feels like a full-fledged next generation game.
We remind you that the release of Skyrim took place in 2011. The game was released on PC and consoles PS3 and Xbox 360. It was later re-released for PS4, Xbox One and Switch as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.
From other interesting news: one of the best games of recent years will be temporarily free.
