The historian told about the true cause of death of Elvis Presley
Experts have found out the new cause of death of the king of rock and roll Elvis Presley, writes the British newspaper The Guardian.
Recently, a book by the historian Sally Hedel was published entitled “Elvis: Born to Die Young.” This essay says that the artist died not because of drug and alcohol problems, but because of genetic diseases. So, the musician's grandparents were cousins, and three maternal relatives died at an early age.
According to the researcher, Presley had nine diseases associated with different systems in the body, and five of them were congenital. This information could change the perception of the singer, who was perceived as “a rock and roll guy who died in his bathroom from taking too many pills,” Hedel said. In her opinion, in fact, Presley was trying to hide his health problems, including insomnia, immunodeficiency and colon disease.
Recall that Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977 from a heart attack. He was 42 years old. He is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the artist with the most hit albums – 97.
Earlier it became known that the premiere of the film about Presley was postponed to July 2022. The premiere was originally scheduled for November 5th.
