The head of the Vostochny cosmodrome was arrested for two months on charges of incitement to abuse of office. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Blagoveshchensk City Court.
Bobkov will be in custody until December 22.
At the moment, investigators are collecting and consolidating evidence.
According to the Kommersant newspaper, Dmitry Fomintsev, chief inspector of the 119th department of the state architectural and construction supervision (GASN) of the Ministry of Defense, was arrested together in Bobkov. They are accused of fraud with the commissioning of three water intake facilities for Vostochny. The damage from their actions is preliminary estimated at half a billion rubles.
