US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke about his favorite songs, which he listened to in 2021. He wrote about this on his Twitter account.
The head of the State Department has published two playlists of songs. He noted that music brings people together and crosses borders, as well as anything else that can divide people. Blinken stressed that he would like to share his favorite compositions released this year by both American musicians and performers from other countries.
The global playlist On the Road includes tracks from 36 artists, including The Weeknd, Stromae, Adel, Dua Lipa and others. Another track list consists of songs by American artists such as Justin Bieber, Diana Ross, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars.
Earlier, Turkish scientists conducted a study that identified the best relaxation music. It turns out that heavy metal classics and pop hits from the 1980s and 2000s are best suited for calming and lowering blood pressure. At the same time, techno, dubstep and chill-out all contribute to an increase in the heart rate and an increase in the level of anxiety.
