This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry. There is no official comment from the US Department of Defense yet.
“Today's talks between Shoigu and the head of the Pentagon are the second since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine. The last ones were in May, the topic of discussion then was the same – topical issues of international security, including the situation in Ukraine”, — the propaganda media write.
The details of the conversation are not disclosed in the Kremlin.
Russia threatens with nuclear weapons
The head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, against the backdrop of defeats in Ukraine, began to threaten with nuclear weapons. On September 29, CNN, citing US intelligence, reported that the probability of the Russian President using tactical nuclear weapons in a war against Ukraine is possibly the highest since the start of a full-scale invasion on February 24.
