During his visit to the United States, Jan Lipavsky instructed the Czech Foreign Ministry to protest to the Russian ambassador following the missile strike on July 8.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky spoke harshly about the Russians amid information about the missile strike on the Okhmatdet hospital in Kyiv on July 8.
The Seznam Zpravy portal writes about this with reference to a comment by Jan Lipavsky.
Russian Ambassador Alexander Zmeevsky arrived at the Czernin Palace in Hradcany in Prague on July 9 to meet with MP Jan Marian, who relayed the statement of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs verbatim.
“The meeting lasted about 10 minutes. Even the day before, on July 8, the Czech ministry described Russia's massive missile strike on Kiev and other cities as barbarism,” the portal's report says.
The Czech publication also quotes Lipavsky: “The murderers who attack children in hospitals, – this is the trash of humanity.”
And therefore Zmeevsky must convey these words to his Moscow leadership.
After being summoned to the Czech Foreign Ministry, Zmeevsky gave a comment to Seznam Zpravy and repeated that the human casualties and destruction of civilian infrastructure, in particular medical institutions in Kiev, were not caused by a Russian missile. “It was a Ukrainian missile,” and the meeting at the ministry went “as usual,” the Russian ambassador said.
Recall that military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko explained how exactly the Russians managed to attack Kiev on July 8.
