The head of the Cosmonaut Training Center Maxim Kharlamov told why the actress Yulia Peresild was being driven in a centrifuge.
– The other day, the film director Klim Shipenko and the actress Yulia Peresild were “skated” on it – so that they could feel what it would be like for them during the launch on the rocket and upon landing, – he explained in an interview with kp.ru.
The fact is that very soon the artists will go into space to shoot the film, but for now they are intensively preparing for the flight. They will take part in the creation of the first picture to be filmed in low-earth orbit. The film was titled “The Challenge”.
For filming, a large-scale casting was held in which the actors were looked at not only by producers, but also by doctors. As a result, the main crew included Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko (on his account such films as “Salyut-7”, “Text” and “Kholop”). But, as befits the cosmonauts, there is also a backup crew – actress Alena Mordovina and director Alexei Dudin got into it.
The start is scheduled for October 5, 2021.
