Russia knew about certain plans of Hamas against Israel, the GUR emphasized.
During official meetings, Hamas terrorists agreed with Russia on the transfer of weapons, in particular small infantry weapons.
Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov spoke about this in an interview with Espresso.
“The whole world saw the visits of Hamas representatives to Moscow. And they did not hide these official visits. And what was discussed during these visits was not the development of ballet and culture, not climate protection, and not some kind of Kremlin-Hamas friendship evenings. It is clear that both were interested sides,” he said.
Yusov noted that Russia knew about certain Hamas plans against Israel.
“This was done even before the latest attacks on Israel, that is, one way or another, Russia was informed that some things would happen. And they also heard video footage with the Russian language that sounded during the attacks on Israel and the analysis confirms these facts. That is, this is information that not only Ukraine has, but both Israel and our partners and allies in the world know about it. Therefore, yes, it was,” he added.
In addition, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed that Russia is teaching Arab instructors how to hit Israeli equipment with FPV drones.
“And operational information, and intelligence work, and not only. There is also an exchange of information internationally. Yes, Russian instructors, Russia, using the so-called PVK (did this – ed.). Let us emphasize once again, no private military companies on Russia does not exist – it’s all part of the Russian special services, these are structures that work with the support and completely financed by the Russian budget or near-budget structures. In the end, a person similar to Putin confirmed this in relation to Wagner’s PVK on live television, including military-political leadership of the regime that now rules the territory called the Russian Federation,” he emphasized, adding that contacts between the Russian Federation and Hamas were “quite a long time ago.”
