Russian military “well understand what they are fighting for” in Ukraine , because we saw gender-neutral toilets in local schools.
This was stated by the governor of the Russian city of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, on his Telegram channel after a meeting with wounded soldiers in the hospital, The Moscow Times reports.
According to him, war participants saw toilets in Ukraine, “where instead of two rooms – for girls and boys – there were three rooms: for girls, boys and gender-neutral ones.”
That is why, the governor of St. Petersburg believes, “these guys don’t need to explain what values we stand for.”
“It’s easiest to talk to fighters about political topics. Those who, with a machine gun in their hands, went through the Ukrainianized version of Donbass understand well what we are fighting for,” wrote Beglov.
In response to the governor’s statement, deputy of the legislative assembly of St. Petersburg Boris Vishnevsky recalled that “according to Rosstat, a quarter of Russians do not have centralized sewerage” and noted that “it is difficult to imagine something more gender-neutral, than a yard toilet like a toilet” .
Recall that against the background of the rising cost of eggs and chicken in Russia, a dispute arose in the local government about the future production of food. Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko called not to feed Russians with locusts and fly larvae, as Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov planned.
