One of the users shared a classified document with the secret characteristics of the British Challenger 2 tank. He wanted to improve the accuracy of its design in the computer game War Thunder. It is reported by the UK Defense Journal portal.
The gamer introduced himself as the commander of the Challenger 2 tank and posted the combat vehicle maintenance manuals (AESP) on the forum. He wanted to prove to the game developers that they had modeled the tank incorrectly.
It was noted that the documents were crossed out and stamped with a stamp indicating that the document was not classified. In addition, some parts of the text have been shaded.
After the incident, the developers refused to discuss the incident and the document itself. The forum moderator said that they have written confirmation from the British Ministry of Defense that this document still has a “secret” status.
