Analysts predicted the success of the iPhone 12 series smartphones in the market. This is reported by the publication Appleinsider, which has at its disposal the report of the investment firm Wedbush.
The policy note says that experts expect the launch of a “supercycle” for new Apple smartphones. This term means the high interest of consumers in products – both among iPhone owners and among Android device owners. According to analyst Daniel Ives (Daniel Ives), iPhone 12 will be in demand in the US and Chinese markets. The specialist is confident that the company will sell at least 80 million units of devices during the initial launch period.
Ives also described the “super loop” mechanism that awaits the new iPhones. According to the investment firm, in the near future, about 350 million of Apple's 950 million smartphones will be updated in the hands of iPhone users. “We have not seen such a trend in recent years, starting with the iPhone 6 in 2014,” he stressed.
A Wedbush analyst noted that there is clear interest in the iPhone 12 Pro and predicts the success of the 6.1-inch model. He also believes that demand for the most expensive model of the generation – the iPhone 12 Pro Max – is very high. This will lead to an increase in the average smartphone brand value (ASP).
In mid-November it became known that new Apple smartphones were in demand in Russia. In particular, more than a thousand messages about the resale of devices of the iPhone 12 line appeared on ad sites.
