Prigozhin does not directly oppose the dictator.
Russian oligarch and founder DK “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin, who is called the chef of President Vladimir Putin, can pull the role of “strong man” over himself, undermining the authority of the head of the Kremlin.
This is stated in a new report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Prigozhin, a businessman close to Putin, and social networks affiliated with him, are increasingly commenting on the inefficiency of traditional Russian military institutions and social problems. It is precisely such actions that can indirectly blow up the Kremlin's rule.
While Prigozhin does not directly oppose or criticize dictator Putin, his popularity among the nationalist community may undermine the Kremlin dictator's appeal as a “strong man” in comparison.
“Discussions about the civil war in Russia may further destroy the Kremlin’s narratives about national, ethnic and religious unity within Russia,” ISW analysts note.
The situation in the Kremlin
The top leadership of the Russian Federation has people who criticize the actions of the military-political command. For the first time in 20 years of his reign, opponents of dictator Putin talked about the resignation of the dictator. This is happening against the backdrop of the failures of the invaders in the war that began in Ukraine.
Moreover, there was surrounded by President Putin >brave man who expressed his disagreement directly with the Russian President about his conduct of the war in Ukraine
In the Kremlin, the “Führer” is feared, but no longer respected because of the disastrous decisions that the “Führer” makes himself . Putin confronts the “Russian elites” with a fact. But this is not always supported by the ruling branch of Russia.
