“They will consider everyone who competes with them in any sphere as their main enemy. Naturally, in addition to the factor that should demonstrate their alliance, unite them, there is also the factor of losing competition or one that they cannot conduct on generally accepted principles, ”Zakharova said.
According to the diplomat, containment of Russia is an attempt by the United States to prevent Moscow from competing on equal terms.
Earlier it became known that the United States will check the size, structure and capabilities of its armed forces due to the “challenges” in the face of Russia and China. In the same statement, Washington named Moscow and Beijing as the main threats to the country.
