The main global manufacturer of mobile processors – the American company Qualcomm – has officially announced the release of its first own smartphone. The gadget has received the long name Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders, which can be translated as “smartphone for Snapdragon insiders”, where “insiders” means the official community of technology lovers on Qualcomm hardware.

The device was created jointly with the Taiwanese company ASUS. Interestingly, the new product received the basic version of the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and not the more powerful and fresh Plus-chip. The device is equipped with a large 6.78-inch AMOLED-screen from Samsung with a resolution of 2448 x 1080 pixels with an increased picture refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The main camera received the main 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, complemented by a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor with wide-angle optics and an 8-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom. Front camera – 24 megapixels. Memory: 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders will be priced at $ 1,499.

In the meantime, the Moto Edge 20 Pro has been completely declassified prior to its official premiere.
