KRASNOYARSK, July 16. / TASS /. The first autonomous hybrid diesel-solar power plant (AGEU) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be commissioned in Tura in September. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the region.

The capacity of the solar energy generation unit will be 2.5 MW, the ministry stressed that this is unique for the Far North. “ASUE will be launched in Tura in September. With the commissioning of the power plant, we get a modern alternative source of energy, which gives us a power reserve, the ability to connect new consumers, as well as a guarantee of reliability and quality of power supply on the territory of Tura,” the press service said.

This is the first such installation in the region. The regional power industry is characterized by the presence of isolated power systems in the northern territories, operating mainly from diesel power plants. The regional budget carries a great financial burden on subsidizing expensive diesel generation.

“Governor Alexander Viktorovich Uss sets the task of increasing the energy efficiency of such territories. Solar generation projects – one of the most renewable and affordable energy sources, wind generation projects, the development of energy centers based on crude oil – have great prospects for implementation in isolated areas. We are now actively working on these It is clear that there should be more of them “, – the Minister of Industry, Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the region Yevgeny Afanasyev explained to the agency.

The ASUE construction project is being implemented within the framework of an energy service agreement between Hevel Energoservice LLC (part of the Hevel group of companies) and the Ilimpiyskie elektroseti MP. ASUE will work in conjunction with three operating diesel power plants Tura. The volume of investments in the project is over 300 million rubles. It is planned that ASUE will save up to 644 tons of diesel fuel per year (12%).
