Vladimir Zelensky spoke about the evacuation of Ukrainians from Gaza.
On November 7, the first group of Ukrainians – 43 people – were evacuated from the Gaza Strip.
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this.
“They are now safe in Egypt, where Ukrainian diplomats are providing them with the necessary assistance. We also helped evacuate 36 Moldovan citizens and we are happy to help our friendly neighbor,” he said.
According to the president, the evacuation continues.
“Our embassies in Israel and Egypt, as well as other relevant agencies, are working hard to get more of our citizens out of Gaza,” the president added.
Let us remind you that the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk said that 367 Ukrainians are expected to be evacuated from the Gaza Strip.
