The first foreign citizens entered Egypt from Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

The first group of foreigners left the Gaza Strip. This happened after the wounded were evacuated by ambulance across the border on November 1.

Sky News reports this.

“The first foreign citizens arrived in Egypt from Gaza… This happened after the wounded evacuees were transported across the border in ambulances in the morning,” the publication writes.

According to the agreement reached between Egypt, Israel and Hamas, a number of foreigners and seriously wounded people will be allowed to leave the dangerous territory.

Evacuation of Ukrainians from the Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other departments of Ukraine are preparing the evacuation of Ukrainians from the Gaza Strip after the Egyptian authorities allowed entry into their territory through the Rafah checkpoint. It is currently known that the departure of foreigners from the Gaza Strip will be carried out in alphabetical order in accordance with their nationality.

Currently, there are 358 Ukrainians on the list of those wishing to leave Gaza, mostly women and children. Everyone is in contact.
