The building of the Russian Embassy in the Philippines received significant damage as a result of a strong fire. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Russian Foreign Ministry,

“According to preliminary data, the building has suffered significant damage. The causes of the fire are being investigated. In cooperation with the Philippine emergency services, the main source of fire was promptly eliminated, and the fire extinguishing work will be completed in the near future,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

It also became known about the absence of victims and those killed in the incident. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the embassy staff, as well as their family members who were in the building, were evacuated.

Earlier, an explosion with a fire occurred off the coast of Nigeria on the Trinity Spirit oil-producing vessel. The video, which was taken from the next side, shows flames and black smoke. Trinity Spirit is slowly sinking, ships and boats that have come to the rescue are trying to localize the fire. The screams of people who tried to approach the ship at sea can also be heard on the recording.
