The finalist of the tenth season of the “Voice” show Alisher Karimov was able to perform the song in a “duet” with his mentor, singer Alexander Gradsky, who died on November 28, the video was published on the project's YouTube channel.
The musician was “brought to life” on a large screen, which was installed behind the stage. It showed Gradsky performing the song “How Young We Were”. Thanks to this, Karimov was able to perform with a mentor. “I feel that he is near. When I went on stage in the semifinals, I realized that he was somewhere here, ”he admitted.
Ernar Suderbaev from the team of singer Dima Bilan, Alisher Karimov from the team of composer Alexander Gradsky and Alexander Volkodav from the team of Pelageya reached the final of the song competition. The latter won the draft, gaining 53.3 percent of the vote.
Alexander Gradsky, who was one of the mentors in the tenth season, died in November of a cerebral infarction. The organizers said that the project is dedicated to his memory.
