A trip to the UK to unveil a monument to Princess Diana helped Prince Harry mend his relationship with his brother, Prince William. It is reported by Us Weekly magazine.

The princes met before the ceremony and spent the morning sorting through memorabilia and notes from their mother. “They definitely turned the page in their relationship and began the healing process,” the source said. “Their entourage is delighted with how close they were on the day the statue was unveiled.”

The same opinion is shared by another source quoted by Us Weekly. “It's no secret that Harry and Meghan declared war on the royal family last year,” he said. “Not everything has been forgiven yet, but after the scandals over their interviews – which they don't regret, by the way – Harry and Meghan are struggling to maintain a good relationship with the Queen.”

The third source of the magazine said that William's wife Kate Middleton also tried to make peace with Harry's wife Meghan Markle. “Kate is much more likely to communicate with Megan after she had a daughter,” he says. “She sends her notes and gifts, tries to improve relations.”

The brothers fell out when Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle relinquished the powers of senior royals. The author of books on the British royal family, Katie Nicholl, argues that the rift between Harry and William has only intensified since Oprah Winfrey's interview in March.

Prince Harry and Prince William inaugurated a monument to their mother, Princess Diana, on Thursday, July 1, in the gardens of Kensington Palace. A few hours after the ceremony, Harry flew to the United States.
